Our focus is on start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs, but larger companies can also participate.

How we work together
What does it look like to use an AI-MATTERS service?
What do you get out of it?
If you have at least one of the following:
✓ Existing (AI) technology/solution (TRL 4 or higher) and relevant expertise, or
✓ A desire to validate your AI-based product, solution or service in a production context, or
✓ A desire to optimize your production, or
✓ A labor shortage challenge, or
✓ A need or challenge to improve quality, or
✓ A need for access to relevant use cases or data to mature your product for TRL-8, or
✓ A need to understand how new technology can be used without investment, or
✓ Relevant use cases or data from your production environment.
You get at least one of the following:
✓ Access to our facilities and infrastructure to integrate and test your solution in a real production context
✓ Access to production companies, use cases and/or data
✓ Evaluation and feedback from potential end users in the industry
✓ Possibility to mature your solution based on experiment results
✓ Access to technology experts and demonstrators
✓ Proof of concept (incl. report) as a result of the experiment
✓ Discount or financial support for testing and validation of AI technology, subject to an eligibility check
How we support collaborative testing and experimentation:
AI-MATTERS offers multiple forms of collaboration for testing and experimentation via our facilities (TEFs) across Europe:
- We test technology solutions in production environments in our labs,
- We create use cases and data with end users in production to improve and validate solutions and/or
- We establish collaborative experiments between end users and technology providers.
AI-MATTERS focuses on applied research: technology validation in labs or relevant industrial environments, demonstration, system prototyping, finalization and qualification.
