Its purpose is to investigate whether a given vision solution is technically feasible and robust enough to support automation, quality control, detection, localization, or process monitoring. The proof-of-concept process is carried out either in existing laboratory setups in the sensor labs and vision lab or in a customized test setup built for the specific application. The service provides the customer with an early decision basis on whether a vision-based and potentially AI-enabled solution should be developed further toward prototype or implementation.
